FX has a brand new show call Better Things that is a hilarious look at motherhood. It was created by the fabulous minds of Louis CK and Pamela Adlon. It is on Thursday night on FX. It looks at a harried mom and I can so relate, especially after the crazy week I have had. But you don’t want to hear about that so lets get to the giveaway.
I received a box of goodies (that I opened on the video) that included a pair of Ray*Ban glasses! I have a matching box for 1 lucky winner (located in the United States only, sorry). All you have to do is go over to the FX Better Things site and watch a clip or 2. Then come back here and tell me what you like, relate to, or thought! Meaningful comments only!
That is it! I will close the giveaway on September 29th!
This show looks soooo funny. “The Bed Eye” clip is so me on the weekends.
i can relate to how she relates to her kids always trying to do the best its the perfect Correlation i do believe and still wanting to find that you fit it after all the work a mother does no one really takes the time to see i like it
I like the pillow clip.
I have to say I didn’t find this so funny. I don’t like that it has foul language. Too bad comedy has to include vulgarity. It was funny that the character thought she was almost in menopause but found out that she had the reproduction system of a sixteen year old. She seemed to act like a sixteen year old as well.
I cant imagine raising 3 girls alone. I relate to her being a single mom. I watched the First Look clip and enjoyed getting the main character’s perspective on it.
I liked the pillow clip. I like that this show is very realistic
The hair drying clip is sooo true! I liked how she fell asleep in her daughter’s bed in the pilot episode- I do that too! I really enjoyed how it’s about how real life is work and it never stops. But it’s worth it.
The Pillow scene. I feel that way 3 out of 5 mornings around here with a 12 year old daughter.
As a of three kids I can relate to her frazzled mom life! I will definitely be checking this show out, it looks hilarious and fun. I think I would enjoy watching it with my oldest daughter. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
I like that the show is relatable. The smoke detector clip is hilarious!
I relate to the fact that she is far from perfect but still trying and the results can be really funny.
I love that I can relate to her as a single mother. My husband is often away and I take care of 4 kids by myself. I love her humor and how she looks at it, it’s so true.
I like the Bed Eye clip a lot! I don’t have kids, but I love to just roll back into bed if someone tries to interrupt my sleep.
I can so relate to the smoke detector clip! The pillow, too!
I relate to the pillow scene. That is something I would do when things become too much for me to handle
I relate to the stresses of motherhood! The pillow scene was something I can totally relate to
I can relate to the pillow clip because I am always trying to sleep in on the weekends when it has been a long week and that is when the kids get up on time
